    I’m sure I’m missing something but no matter what I try I can’t get the address and place attachments to copy across on a translation.

    I’ve tried duplicating the post but it still doesn’t populate those fields.

    Also is there a way to select Place Attachments from the media library instead of having to upload? This si especially frustrating do the above as I’m uploading everything twice.

    When adding a translation ar eu using the “copy content from XXXX” button in the backend?

    I wasn’t I was using the duplicate – the copy content is working better.

    The address region and city aren’t being copied but I can live with that.

    Actually I’m not sure about this.

    I’ve tried it again with more than one attachment and it doesn’t look as if it’s copying the pictures.

    I’ll try more tests and get back to you.

    No it’s not working correctly.

    I’ve tried a few tests and in one case it actually copied an attachment from a different post.

    Can you try one to make sure I’m not going mad?

    At the moment WPML isn’t able to copy details that are stored in GD custom DB tables.

    This can only be re-filled again.

    So what fields should be copied?
    The Place attachments is the biggest issue especially as I can’t select them from the media gallery and have to upload them for each translation.

    OK here’s my problem – Place Attachments are not copied to a translation and since I can’t select them from the media library means having to upload everything twice.

    One thing I have found is that if I do this with Dummy data the attachments are copied across.

    Address details don’t copy either for manual entries but do for Dummy data.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    I have trashed the entire site (deleted all files and dropped all database tables) and rebuilt it all (clean WP install etc.) and still have this issue.

    Update – I think the problem may be related to the Place Category but I can’t work out exactly what’s occurring, is there any documentation I can look at?
