Yoast SEO – og:description not updating

    Hello,

    I have a problem with the og:description after updating a place. When creating a place the og:description is stored by yoast in the post_meta table of the database. This works all fine.
    But if I update the place, the og:description is not updated as well. So when generating the open graph, yoast is delivering the wrong (old) description. The meta_key “_yoast_wpseo_opengraph-description” in the database is not updating.
    With a “normal” post it is working well, but not with the custom post types of geodirectory. I have not check if this is a bug of yoast SEO, not to handle custom post types.

    Using yoast SEO premium latest version: 5.9.4

    Hi,

    I made a test with another custom post type (not from geodirectory) and I see the same. I will contact yoast and will let you know.
