I am using Yoast SEO with Geodirectory. I have activated the sitemap in Yoast SEO. When visiting the url (www.whattodo-vi.com/sitemap_index.xml) for the sitemap I get the following error message:

This page contains the following errors:

error on line 2 at column 1: Extra content at the end of the document
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

After troubleshooting by disabling all my plugins except for Yoast, and still getting the error, I found in the forum that you (GeoDirectory) have a fix for this. Can you please apply the fix.

Sorry for the delay. Updates are all taken care of now. Still getting error from Yoast Plugin about duplicate XML declaration. Screenshot attached. Can you please take a look?

    Hi,

Please check, now sitemap is working fine.

There was a white space between PHP opening and closing tag (?> <?php) outside the functions in child theme GDF_child file functions.php.
This causing the problem in rendering the XML sitemap.

    Thanks,
    Kiran
