Cannot preview drafts of Places. “You do not have permission to preview drafts”. This site is a new production site after working in dev mode. the only differences being the latest updates of GD/plugins.

    Is the user an administrator?
I cannot replicate that in my test sites.

Let us know if the server tweak as suggested in your other topic sorts this too.
I could not find a draft listing in your admin, so have not tested until you let us know this is still a problem.

Was not a draft vs published status issue, but on any page or post one has opportunity to “preview changes” prior to save/update post/page. This is preview button in right sidebar of any edit post/page. It opens new tab with preview of modifications.

Until a GD listing is saved in the database, you normally should get a 404 if you want to preview, because until it is saved it cannot make all the connections in the database that a GD listing needs. (a normal WP post does not need those connections).
What I get in my test sites is a 404, not something that tells me I have no permission.
It looks like your admin details have changed so I could not test the Preview of a normal WP post, but it seems it might be a session issue like your other issue.

Paolo might be able to shed more light on this.

    Hi,

I think you have mod_security or something similar installed on that server.

Please ask to your server admin if that is the case and to disable them in case.

Wordpress doesn’t work properly with mod_security and GeoDirectory even less.

    Let us know,

    Thanks
