Zip code search not working

    Hi,

    I have added a few dummy places in my town (Frankfurt).

    When I enter the town name in the search field, I see the result of all places in town as expected. However, when I enter zip codes the search doesnt always work. I have tested this further with my home zip code 60327 and creating a “place” with this zip code. Even though a place with this zip code exists, GD doesnt return a result for the zip code.

    Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

    Hi,

    60327 is a common zip code and the Google Maps API returns Jouy-sous-Thelle in France if you only search for 60327.

    You should search for 60327 DE to have Frankfurt returned.

    To do that you can add DE to GeoDirectory > Search > Add location specific text to (Near) search for Google.
