I have a problem with the translation of the core plug-in.
For the translation I have downloaded the current geodirectory-en_DE.po. I copied this file to the following directory: / wp-content / languages / geodirectory. The translation also works to 99%. In two places it does not work, although the translation in the PO file is correctly entered. I have no idea why. I have added two screenshots, which show that the buttons are translated into German. The main text is still in English. However, this text is translated in the PO file. What is the reason?

    Hi there,

Kindly provide WP temp admin access and FTP access to your server so that we could check further.

    Thanks!

You might have to update the file, see
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/

The translated language files sometimes are a few versions behind.

    Thanks

    Hello!
I have the latest version of the core plug-in and the latest version of the language file.
The texts are present in the PO file and are translated correctly.
    See screenshots.
I do not know why I should now merge language files?

    There must be something else.

    I urgently need a solution.

    thank you

You do not seem to have any free packages so you will need to use the Payment Manager language file.

I have also a question to that.
Is it better to translate the en File – to the buttons and things
    a user will see.
Or is it better to switch the whole wordpress to that language and translate
    everything into that one ?

My custom forms are already translated – even when the wordpress is english.

    @alphavader
Really does not matter, unless you are building a multilingual site, then you need to keep languages in the corresponding language file.
