Geodir_Buddypress,Geodirectory_Dashboard etc cannot be found in the Geodirectory menu after installing and activating them.
Please help me get them to work properly
All the other Add-ons are working well after activating them.

May 5, 2018 at 11:43 am #429213Hello John,
In your first topic, it is not clear if BuddyPress has been installed and activated. You did mention GeoDirectory BuddyPress integration, which is a different addon.
Please confirm you have installed and activated BuddyPress, which is a 3rd party addon. That is required for the GeoDirectory BuddyPress integration.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/buddypress-integration-add-on-overview/
You can find the Geodirectory Dashboard underneath the normal WordPress menu item for Dashboard
WordPress – Dashboard – Geodirectory

May 8, 2018 at 4:40 pm #429566Hello Alex please i need help on the following issues, am not sure whether some fall outside supports though:
1).Currently my “Sign Up” form is not opening to allow new visitors to register (“Sign In” form is repeating for “Sign Up” purpose)
2). Existing customers are not able to change their passwords
3).Video code section in the default CPT to be modified to the path of the videos to upload, this will make it user friendly for users.
4).Notes/comments/descriptions be added to the videos and photos to make them more meaningful for customers or clients
5) Number of videos uploaded by customers to be restricted or more fees for more videos uploaded.
6) Profiles is currently the only tap to enter text, is it possible to add another text tap to name it Products/Services where customers can create list of their products and services ?7) Places: Can this default CPT name be changed to something meaningful like “General Business”?
Thanks so much for the usual assistance
John.
May 8, 2018 at 8:11 pm #4295941).Currently my “Sign Up” form is not opening to allow new visitors to register (“Sign In” form is repeating for “Sign Up” purpose)
See: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#anyone
2). Existing customers are not able to change their passwords
Please have a look at GD > General > General tab > Allow user to see wp-admin area > yes/no
See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-general/#general
3).Video code section in the default CPT to be modified to the path of the videos to upload, this will make it user friendly for users.
Users may not access WP Media library for security reasons.
4).Notes/comments/descriptions be added to the videos and photos to make them more meaningful for customers or clients
Can add custom fields: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#custom
5) Number of videos uploaded by customers to be restricted or more fees for more videos uploaded.
For V1, only one video field is supported, but it is possible to customize by adding an HTML field using the custom fields.
6) Profiles is currently the only tap to enter text, is it possible to add another text tap to name it Products/Services where customers can create list of their products and services ?
It is possible to list these things with UsersWP, our plugin for advanced profiles. https://userswp.io
7) Places: Can this default CPT name be changed to something meaningful like “General Business”?
See: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-do-i-change-place-and-places/
May 10, 2018 at 7:35 am #429860Thanks Alex,
for issue number 3, you already have similar features for images as shown in the attached file, all am requesting is providing the same features for videos so that users can just click and select their videos stored in whatever path or directory they might have stored them. The “Search” label is not displaying on my search button in the home page, the size of the button too is very small. please help me fix this.
wwww.busynets.com is my site name , the items are not properly or professionally arranged or organised on the home page despite activation and configurations of most of the Add-ons.
please help me and recommend whether i need a developer to make the site commercial ready.
Thanks.
