Hi,
I’ve been publishing places and having them show on the front end without any issues. Today I am trying to publish places and they are not showing on the front end, in the back end the are there and its saying published. I’ve cleared the cache and it doesn’t resolve the issue. What can I do to fix this??The only thing I had done in between yesterdays last published place and today first published place was to open poedit to change a language file which I didn’t end up changing, I have since closed that and it still doesn’t change anything.
Also, the first place I added this morning I used my Iphone, that was the first time I had attempted to add a place using a another device other than my pc.
Thanks in advanceMay 19, 2018 at 12:07 am #431232I also opened my website incognito to see if it was the browser and that did’n’t resolve anything either.

We suggest to use GD Booster or WP cache, rather than Managed WP hosting settings:https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#cacheplugins

May 19, 2018 at 3:24 am #431247I still don’t have 2 places showing on the front end that are showing published in the back end. Are you saying when you turned the caching plugin off the were showing in the front end? The 2 places that aren’t showing are “test test test” and “Found: iPad Air”.
I haven’t had any issues with listings till today, I haven’t changed caching plugins either, I would have thought if it were a caching issue it would have done it from the start.
Can you confirm the 2 places I mentioned above are showing on your end at this point in time?
May 19, 2018 at 3:37 am #431248I also just did another test post for a place without the caching on and it isn’t showing either on the front end (on the website). Can you add a new place to see if yours shows please?

Because the Popular Post widget is set to show 4 listings ordered by A-Z. Change the setting at Appearance > Widgets > GD Home Section > Popular Post widget.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#popular-postThen why aren’t they showing up on the Homepage under “Community Info”?
For the same reason as above, just change the settings in the other Popular Post widget. Thanks
May 19, 2018 at 4:57 am #431257I did have the Popular Post widget for ‘Latest’ set to Latest and it was displaying alphabetically. I changed it to alphabetically and saved it and then changed it back to Latest, it is now showing the latest. As for ‘Community Info’ I thought I had it set to Latest as well but I didn’t. I really appreciate your help and patience with me, thanks again!
