Hello,
We’re experiencing some issues with the events categories and it display.

we have this event:
https://www.ebeautyplanet.fr/events/symposiums-chirurgie-esthetique/nouveautes-en-chirurgie-plastique-du-sein/

on “Chirurgie esthetique / symposiums” categories.

But it displays in a page where we have the shortcode with some other categorie (I’ve checked the ids of the categories and it’s ok)

This is where it supposed to be (that it is ok):
https://www.ebeautyplanet.fr/chirurgie-esthetique/evenements/symposiums/

And are two examples of where it doesn’t suppose to be (there’re a various number of events pages that happens the same) and both pages display the same events although they have two different categories ids:
https://www.ebeautyplanet.fr/chirurgie-esthetique/evenements/workshops/
https://www.ebeautyplanet.fr/cosmetique/evenements/symposiums/

the shortcode we’re using is:
[gd_event_listing layout=”list” list_sort=”featured” category=”335″] (the category id changes with the pages)

GD auto-creates your category pages, please add these shortcodes to a test page, and you will see:
[gd_location_tab_switcher]
[gd_advanced_search]
[gd_login_box]
[gd_cpt_categories]
[gd_location_switcher]

This is the GD category page:
https://www.ebeautyplanet.fr/events/symposiums-chirurgie-esthetique/
https://www.ebeautyplanet.fr/events/evenements-esthetique/
etc

Remember too that if a listing is in a sub-category like
https://www.ebeautyplanet.fr/events/evenements-esthetique/workshops-esthetique/
then it is also in the parent category, like
https://www.ebeautyplanet.fr/events/evenements-esthetique/

You have a number of plugins that conflict with GD:

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#w3cache

You have an extension “Calendrier” for Events that is not a GD plugin, I am not sure how you got that there. Maybe that is the problem?

Your Autoptimize settings need fixing: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/autoptimize-settings/

Can you attend to those and then we can have another look.
The problem does not exist when using the GD auto-generated category pages, so it must be a conflict with something else.

We tried deactivating those plugins (and tried deactivating some more) but the problem persists

Hello,
I’ve checked and the categories with problems are the ones without any events on it. It seems that when there aren’t any events the shortcode uploads events from other categories.
