Hello!
After the last update I am still not able to see some of my translations.
For example:
“All Places”
“No Reviews”
“Favorite”
“My Favorite”
“and”
“Places”
“Enter Your Location”
Logged in as admin. Log out?”+ I tried to translate multirating addon and translations do not show, too:
“Rate this Place (overall):”
“Rate this Place individually for:”How to fix this ASAP because I want to lunch my site and can`t still finish my site.
June 20, 2014 at 11:44 pm #5335Hi Chintia, I think you have to redo your PO and MO files, the update has new language strings.
All Places: you might have to change “Places” in GD > custom post types > choose the Places > change all labels as required
June 21, 2014 at 7:07 pm #5484Hi!
What does it mean – “redo your PO and MO files”? How to do that? I have translated my PO file – put a lot of work. How to transfer my translation to new – updated PO file which came with GD directory? I hope it is possible!
June 21, 2014 at 7:28 pm #5492I installed GD > custom post types
Changed word Places to my language word and clicked daved and now I have warning all over the placeWarning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /home1/digital8/public_html/piecaszvaigznes.lv/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/taxonomy_functions.php on line 272
I deleted GD > custom post types plugin but still have the same warning.
How to fix it?
Thank you!
June 21, 2014 at 8:00 pm #5506You should reinstal and revert what you did. Probably you changed the custom post type name but not the taxonomy names?
You can update the new po file from your existing po file with poedit: http://www.marketpressthemes.com/blog/how-to-merge-two-po-files-using-poedit/
Let us know if you still have problems.
June 22, 2014 at 4:57 am #5538I have the same problem translating the post type / slug label:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/translation-not-easy/page/2/#post-5481June 22, 2014 at 2:30 pm #5559Reinstall what? Everything? Only because I installed one of your plugins and it messed up all my work? Is this the only way I can fix it?
June 22, 2014 at 9:23 pm #5601Chintia, I think what Paolo means is to re-install custom post add-on, because you renamed the post type itself, which you are not supposed to do if you already have listings in that post type. Look at the image I attached.
The result is that you have have changed a lot of references in the database that need fixing. How many listings do you have?
It would be handy if you post your URL and WP admin login details in a private reply, then we can have a look ourselves.June 23, 2014 at 10:28 am #5645This reply has been marked as private.June 23, 2014 at 11:37 am #5655This reply has been marked as private.June 23, 2014 at 12:19 pm #5659This reply has been marked as private.June 23, 2014 at 12:26 pm #5661This reply has been marked as private.June 23, 2014 at 12:45 pm #5662This reply has been marked as private.June 23, 2014 at 1:05 pm #5664OK, Chintia.
