    Hello!

I am still not able to find how and where to translate word “and” “Logged in as” and “Log Out?”

    Which file should I edit?

    Thank you!

The login issue is in your WP language file:

    Logged in as <a href="%1$s">%2$s</a>. <a href="%3$s" title="Log out of this account">Log out?</a>

For the “and” I’ll hand over to Stiofan, I think that might require a change in the files.

the “and” part is wordpress default output of the_taxonomies() function.

I’d guess that if you are using wordpress in your language it should be translated…

I’ve spent the last half hour trying to find an answer in wordpress forums, but I think it will be easier to ask to Stiofan…

    Shouldn’t be impossible! 🙂

Yes, please ask Stiofan about “and” because I searched in wordpress forums too and could not find any answer, too.

    to Guust!
which WP language file do you mean?
The general WP language file? it is set to lv_LV but in po file I could not find “Logged in as” text etc!
Is there anywhere else some language file?

The string is not just “logged in as”, the string is the full one as I posted above. And yes, it is in the main WP language file.

I’ve double checked and the “and” is translated with wordpress po file.

I’ve just tested a wordpress install in German and instead of and I see und.

    Thx

    Hello!

Sorry buy I don`t have this line in my main WP language file
    “Logged in as <a href=”%1$s”>%2$s</a>. <a href=”%3$s” title=”Log out of this account”>Log out?</a>”

and I also don`t have word “and” in my WP language file.

I have installed my wordpress in Latvian language and latvian .po file does not have

“Logged in as %2$s. Log out?

    to translate!

How do I resolve this problem? What should I do?

    Thank you!

The string is being printed, so it must be there somewhere.
All I still can think of is that you got your Latvian language file and you have not synchronised it with your current WP version.

You should also find strings like this

    %s, and %s

That should allow you to translate “and”

I synchronised Latvian language file with English language file and uploaded and now I can find “%s, and %s” and translate this string BUT it is not showing up in website anyway – it still shows “and”.

    Hi,

given that the issue is about wordpress and not GD, I’ve done for you what you were supposed to be doing.

Ask for help in the wordpress forum:

    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/translate-the_taxonomies-and-between-last-too-terms?replies=3#post-5830022

    Hopefully this will help.

    Thanks,

    GLad we solved…

whenever I can, I try to also help for things that are not directly related to our products, but whenever you have “general wordpress issue” like I told you this was, it is good to know that you can get a superior level of support in the wordpress.org forums.

    Thx 🙂
