    Hi Chintia,

this kind of message shouldn’t be set as private.

Only replies with links wp admin or ftp credentials should be marked as private.

The forum is open so that if anyone is also having your same problem can refer to the same post.

Please avoid using private reply option unless strictly necessary.

I’m flagging this for Vikas to follow up.

    Thanks,

    Paolo

Hi, I’m trying to transfer my locations and categories from Geo Theme to Geo Directory. Firstly I tried simply downloading the CVS from GT and uploading to GD but, despite a successful upload, 0 cities were imported. I then tried importing in the way I’ve successfully imported between GT in the past, using Apache Open Office. I’ve exported Cities, opened the CVS file in Open Office, deleted city ID, saved as CVS then imported to GD, but again a successful upload but 0 cities imported. Am I missing a trick, please?

    Hi,

there is no option on GD to upload cities right now, because cities can be created via front end form.

GeoDirectory currently only allow to import listings via CSV.
While importing listings, you simply need to add the location in the csv like this for example:

    post_address
    Golden Gate Bridge

    post_city
    San Francisco

    post_region
    California

    post_country
    United States

    post_zip
    94129

    post_latitude
    37.8198772

    post_longitude
    -122.4789386

and the San Francisco location will be automatically added to your database.

Locations that are missing from your database can be added by users while submitting new places too.

    Simpler isn’t it?

    Thanks

In the language file of Review Rating Manager you will find:
    Rate this %s (overall):
    Rate this %s individually for:

Translate that but leave the %s part of the language string.
%s is replaced with the name of your Custom post type, for example Place, Event, Attraction etc.

You need to translate Place in WP admin > GD > custom post types

You need to translate Place in WP admin > GD > custom post types

This is currently not possible. See my post here:

Hi Chintia, I’ll get to this later today. Don’t have enough time right now in the one block to fix that. Sorry, but I’ll get to it soon.
