    would be great if there were a plugin that allowed listers to post jobs for their businesses

    perhaps could make payment for postings optional, etc

    any plans to make a jobs plugin?

    Some GD users already use GD that way.
    Create an event category called “jobs”.

    does it display as an “event” though?

    Hi,

    with the custom post type add-on you can create a Job custom post type with all the fields you need, instead of using events.

    hmmm, this sounds really neat

    1. if Lister ABC posts 2 jobs, can these 2 specific jobs be displayed in Lister ABC’s listing detail page?

    2. can i have a separate “jobs section” on this site? with pagination?

    3. can these jobs use their own separate set of categories like IT Jobs, Farm Jobs, etc?

    4. is there a way to display this separate jobs section by location? New York City, Paris…

    the overall idea is to couple the jobs to their listing owners but also create a helpful separate section of categorized and location-sensitive jobs to help bring employers and skilled workers together – plus to provide an overall targeted site for my niche business listings

    1. If added as events, yes:

    Or if added as “franchises”, yes:

    If added as a separate CPT, no.

    2. Yes, it would be just like any other category page.

    3. Yes, it would be just like any other CPT, so you can use categories and subcategories.

    4. Yes, because it is just like any other GD listing type, it is just that you call it “Jobs”.
