At least could we display the info on Events page (and events shortcode), like the Popular & Latest Events widget does in whoop?So this is my test about the AYI-2 version. Many things to say and I hope I will be clear enough 🙂 :
CHECKING PROCESS : I’am attending a upcoming recurring event (today event).
(This event is well displayed in Events Page as : “Event name – Date of occurrence”, see point 1 below to see what I mean)
Then I am checking BP Profil.I) NON-AYI BUG (do you suggest I post it in Events Add-on on Forum?):
1) I’ve just realized that in Events Page : some of my recurring events displayed as “Event name” with no date, even if they are well recurrent. See screenshot n°1
On their Detail Page (sidebar) : just one date is displayed, see screenshot n°2. Btw starting dates are from 2017 whereas they are not initial dates.2) Thus for these kind of recurring events, you can not “attend” or “sounds cool” (even they are well recurrent!)
II) AYI BUGS (looked in BP profile):
A) “ATTENDING” :
3) It counts me as 1 attendee for the upcoming event, see screenshot n°3. (One previous recurring event I attended displays 0).
4) Checking who is this attendee (to check if it is me) : see screenshot n°4! And the link points on the home page of the site.
5) For both previous and upcoming recurring events, ending dates displayed are crazy, see screenshot n°3 also.
6) Moreover for these 2 kind of events, links point to event pages which are not associated with any occurring date, see screenshot n°5 in next message.B) “EVENTS SUBMITTED”:
7) all the events are displayed!!!
Thinking it was an admin effect, as logged out.
I checked on BP Profile on some users: the same!III) GOOD BEHAVIOUR BTW:
– when attending an occurring date, you don’t automatically attend all dates. Good! 🙂
– it is not just a matter of date, beginning hour seems to work well also, since I was allowed to attend an event of today (starting at 21:00).IV) SUGGESTIONS :
– when an event stands more than one day, it would be good to let attend. Maybe a criteria to set it?
– For non-logged users, I would display on sidebar of the event (instead of blank):
“You can let the people know you will attend to this event. Please login to do so”
AND / OR :
“Some people already attends / sounds cool to this event. Log-in to see who they are”Here it is Guiri!
Don’t hesitate to ask if things are not clear. Don’t hesitate to ask before midnight since my licence ends tonight ;).Obviously if you can solve all these before tonight too, I would be also more than enjoyed ;)).

Btw I am really sorry to bother you with all that Kiran 🙂So I am asking last : then don’t you think a mix back-end/DB solution (that will avoid pure DB copy/past and eventually missing something in meta value table or more) :
1) erase and copy just geodir_custom_post_field table
2) and do the listings job though back-end : export / import well converted listingswill ensure everything works?

On the second point I’m not sure to understand. Do you mean:
Export correct data, Edit AND ?, then import the correct data to update the incorrect ones?

As you suggest, I import all the GD tables (only). It seems to work…
Anything need in _post_meta kind of tables or other tables according to you?Instead, through back-end, any tricks to make it carefully ? like for instance:
1) erasing all previously wrong-converted listing,
2) import cvs of the new ones.
3) and in between maybe go in DB and just update _geodir_custom_post_field, so that it corresponds to the new listing column?Do you see what I mean? The idea is to solve the problem of new well written CPF between the old and the new listings.

From now, if I export the cpf-well-converted listings on a site that has previously wrong-cpf-converted listings, geodir_dg_place_detail columns does not update correctly.
How would you do the trick then (erase all wrong-cpf-converted listings and import new one? erase cpf table and import new corresponding table?….)Cheers,
