When you say:

These are pages that are the result of a GDV2 search – so am I missing something do you think?

Another example of the 2,000 in my Google Search console that are excluded is:

So me these are quite relevant pages – but I might be missing the point of the exclude :o)

It will use titles & meta settings from section “GeoDirectory > Settings > Titles & Meta > Single post pages”

Thanks Kiran – Is this also what it uses for single blog posts in a sites new blog? As if it is, the content would should be very different to a GD Place. Hope that makes sense.

Kiran, that works as planned… the system will revert to the Deodirectory settings and not use YOAST. But, I would love to be able to use those %%search_term%% and %%search_near%% tokens in YOAST. And I assume you can right? So this is an issue with my installation is it?

Thanks Kor – have been a couple of hours tricking with the settings… and I did read that article you linked to

In short – I was sure that I found the perfect solution :o)
….I came to the conclusion that in YOAST I could just use the GD definited settings that I found in “GD – Settings – Titles and Meta – Search Pages.” as follows:

Search results for: %%search_term%% %%search_near%%

But it doesn’t work and the page title on the search page just becomes

Search results for:

will post logon details now…..
