    Thanks Simone,

    I am studying CSS at the moment and will look at that.

    I see a lot of websites with photos (and otherwise designed images) as background either for the header or main body – does that mean that they are not using a theme that doesn’t have the responsive/dynamic thing going on, or are they using CSS like in your link?

    Sorry if that appears a stupid question (it isn’t to me).

    I didn’t have the Home Right section enabled – so have done this, set Home content to 67% and Home Right to 30% and now it looks fine.

    I’m still unsure what or where the Author page is (as opposed to the User Dashboard that I have on the homepage), and where widgets will appear if I put them in the GD Author Top and GD Author Right widget areas?

    Hi Simone,

    Ok – so if I want to use one of my photos as a background header is it possible for me to control the cropping/area selected? I couldn’t see how to do this while experimenting – it just top-sliced the photo and put this top-slice in one-and-half times across the header.

    Hi Simone,

    I’m a little confused about which widget and which area!

    I have just moved the Login widget from Home Top to Home Content widget area and that is better, but it is still much wider than it needs to be.

    I also had GD> Login Box: My Dashboard in GD Author Top Section and also in GD Author Right Sidebar – I understand that the Author page IS the front-end logged-in dashboard though – so am now thoroughly confused!

    Hi Guust,

    thanks -I am aware of the default setting, and to be honest that is a minor part of the issue (I just put it in for info).

    The main issue is people clicking ‘pay and publish’ from listing preview without selecting a payment method – I think it would be better if they were not able to.

    at some point in the future I’ll look to get to grips with the whole translations thing and no doubt find out what I wasn’t doing quite right.

    Hi Simone,

    I’ve just had a final attempt, creating the folder:

    public_html/MYDOMAIN/wp-content/languages/geodir_payments/

    and putting geodir_payments-en_GB.po in that folder.

    I have had to move on to other pressing work now, having spent quite some time on this.

    Where would be the best place to post a request that when you release the next update to the plugin the wording is changed from ‘publish the property’ to ‘publish the listing’? All other messages in the plugin seem to use this generic term, and it would mean others don’t have to go through this process.

    Thanks for your time spent on this – I just have to move on now, and live with ‘list your property’ in the meantime.
