OK – I’ve managed to figure out how to download/upload/install addons – but the issue of accessing documentation remains.
Thanks Guust,
I will have a look. I will probably just switch the heading styles in the back-end edit page in the meantime. If I were to go ahead and change the no.s in the CSS file, would this be over-written by a future release of the GDF Modern theme?
Adrian
Okay – I will have to figure out how to do that – I guess that is a wordpress learning issue, not a GeoDirectory one! (though was surprised that the heading sizes were that way around)
Thanks, Adrian
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks Purpleedge – I was hoping that I could keep track of and manage various trial period options as distinct packages (without letting on they were available), but I suspect your suggestion is the way I will go.
Ok,
thanks Paolo – I’ll have to figure a best way around this as I would like the free premium trial period to be shorter than the paid premium annual period, and am not yet set up for paypal in any case – the site still in development and I am thinking about alternative UK payment options. Thanks again for a great product despite my frustration at not being able to hide desription!
Adrian
Thanks for the input chaps …
Paolo or other admins, do you foresee any problems with using this plugin with GeoD, or might I just go ahead and try it – I guess I would like your opinion on whether if there were problems and I just deleted the plugin, might there be any lasting damage?
Adrian
Thanks for change-log!
Thanks for the updates!
+1 on getting an idea of what bugs have been fixed and features added (assuming this is what a change log is)
September 9, 2014 at 8:32 am in reply to: Can't Add more than 6 Custom post types to claim a listing #14743This is working now in todays update, without my having to fiddle with code – thank you (I can just see about half of the bottom CPT – enough to click on!)
Thanks Paolo.
purpleedge – I just have a more logical order to my categories than alphabetical, based on what my directory contains.
Hi Wayne,
that sounds interesting. I am rather new to development/coding and wonder if this will have implications for other areas of code/functionality – as suggested by Paolo above, and what are the implications in terms of further releases – either of the core GD pluggin or the addons (or is this change protected by virtue of of being coded in a child theme?) It looks so simple that I wonder why the developers haven’t just gone and added the option in a new release?
Well done though for getting that far though! Let us know if it throws up any problems.

I will make a mental note to check Bugs as well as Support forum next time I have an issue!
Cheers,
AdrianGood find Manilaboy!
Cheers 🙂
Hi Manilaboy,
I am happy to wait see what the response is – I am surpised that this is not an issue for a great many users.
Unfortunately I am not in a position to be splashing about cash – especially on freelance developers – if it is not to be a Geodirectory solution (I have a feeling it must be) then I am planning that it will be solved when I partner with a developer to move forward on this and other projects (fortunately I have good friend who works in an approapriate area and we will be getting together soon now that a way forward is shaping up).
Lets hope for a positive repsonse from the GeoD developers in the meantime.
Adrian
