    Guust,

    Thank you for the quick response! I wish it were that simple. Our TOS is actually a form and we require information to be gathered. Any ideas?

    Is Adding a listing the same as adding a place? How can I rename place to reflect Restaurant? Our purpose is only restaurants and adding a ‘place’ seems too vague.

    Guust, Again, thank you so much for the really fast responses! I have been working on this as we speak so I did make a change on the ‘places’ and now it’s labelled ‘restaurants’

    My question is, the theme generated pages ~ one of which is /listings and that is where I intuitively directed the menu item… you are referencing the all listings page as /places (now updated to /restaurant) but how would I know that? There is not page created for that and it confuses me. In my dashboard, under menus, normally all pages generated will show as available to add to a menu. There is not one there for this link….

    Did I miss something along the way?

    Thank you for the fast response. I realize that this ‘should not happen’. That is why I opened a discussion. For help. I have read all the documentation. My permalinks are correct. I double checked to be sure. The url is perfectly fine. I am developing the site on a temporary url in my account as I do all my sites before setting the domain. This issue has been present from installation.

    I did deactivate all of the plugins (all geodirectory addons, nothing from any other developer) and deactivated the child theme, setting the geodirectory main framework theme as the default theme. This seems to do some good. However, the listings page now shows no listings found.

    I believe this is a separate topic, so I will open another post?

    I would like to use the Child Theme for obvious reasons. I will try to download a new copy and reinstall and see if that works.
