The GD Home page looks good.
On your new Front Page shortcode, try using a different zoom level or try autozoom=true
Hello,
that’s interesting, and shouldn’t be the case as far as I know, different results on different platforms.
Please send over the resulting search URLs you are looking at and maybe we will find the culprit there.
About the range slider, please also share that URL and we can take a look. It helps if you can share a listing URL also for a listing that ‘should’ be showing up in the search but isn’t.
You can include all that n a private reply, along wth your WP Admin credentials if we need to look at the settings.
GD Home is just a WP Page.
Open the WP Backend, go to pages, and search for GD Home.
When you find it, you can change the title and the slug, same for all the GD Pages listed in
GeoDirectory – Permalinks
Certainly, that would be the detail page template:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/Let us know how it goes
See this page for more information: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/
There are many pages available for background information linked from that page.
This is the Getting Started section: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/getting-started/
The GD Home page is just a wordpress page, and so you can change the title and the slug, or even assign a different page for it as you like.
Ah I see now.
Those #links will open the tab when the page loads, but on the same page they are ‘just’ bookmarks and will only scroll the page.
Let me flag this topic to see if the developers have a solution for that.
You can adust some settings in
GeoDirectory – Custom post types

Please share a link to the page so we can see the details of what you are talking about.
You can also share WP admin credentials in a private reply if we need to chec your GD settings.
July 9, 2018 at 2:37 pm in reply to: wpgeodirectory Multilocation Add-on cause site to crash #437577On listing, why nothing appeared on …?
If you want, you can set that as your GD Home Page. Go to the GD – Permalinks and set the value there. To make listings appear, try adding dummy content to check the functions. You can also add listings yourself, and also make sure you add widgets.
– I notice there is actually an entry in Places.
– where was it configured to set the wpgeodirectory in …?GD – Permalinks is where you can find the setting
July 9, 2018 at 2:21 pm in reply to: how to have this theme (GeoDirectory Framework) in a subpage (subtheme) #437573– overview map with “marker cluster”. so its easy to navigate.
For any page besides home page you can use the shortcode for the GD Listings Map.
– selectable legend in the map above (meaning selectable categories)
The legend appears only on the GD Home Map and this map only shows on the GD Home page.
– search bar (category and search text). I dont really need nearby.
This is the GD Search shortcode.
– listing below with pagination
This can be done with shortcodes, yes. GD Listing shortcode specifically.– optional – popular selection
Yes

A note here. There are lots of themes out there that do something a little like what GD does, but GD is a PLUGIN, not a theme, first and foremost. You can use it with any theme, and your site looks good, so you should use your theme and we will help in case there are any weird layout issues that come up. Just write back once you have completed the basic setup.
What’s the basic setup?
1. Do basic Installation https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/
2. Review widget settings and add widgets to the GD Home and GD Listing pages.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/
See descriptions of the widget here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/3. Once you setup GD, the PLUGIN, and configure the widgets, then you will have a directory running in your site. Then you can check out the new GD Home page and decide if you need some other custom page or not, based on what you see on the home page.

If you have a question about how to set the theme up just let us know and we can answer here.
July 9, 2018 at 2:05 pm in reply to: wpgeodirectory Multilocation Add-on cause site to crash #437569There are several ways to add links.
Right now the admin can go to the Backend and choose Places – Add New. That is the first one.
Next you can go to the settings at GeoDirectory – Design – Navigation
Use the options there to create an Add Listing menu item and select which menu items should appear, and which should be allowed to anyone who can access the menu.
Once the navigation is visible, you can also copy the link and then go to your menu and create a “Custom Menu” link to the add listing page.To adjust the status of new listings visit the settings at
GeoDirectory – Design – Listings
and choose the status of new listings.
July 9, 2018 at 1:57 pm in reply to: how to have this theme (GeoDirectory Framework) in a subpage (subtheme) #437568GD can be used on a subsite, but each site can only run one theme at a time.
