GeoDirectory V1 does not provide a geocoding or lat/lon lookup function for CSV imports.
That will be a new feature for GDV2, though!
In the meantime there are many services available on the web.
Hello,
Sorry to inform you that the theme does not come with an image slide and changing the featured image into and image slider would require custom code.
Right, only title/description/category/tags are part of ‘search for’/
RE: labels? Are you using the Ajax Chained option for choosing categories? That forces choice of parent category first.
This issue is often associated with media settings.
For GeoDirectory to work correctly, you also need to Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders.
From the main WordPress Dashboard menu, choose Settings > Media > Tick Organise my uploads into month- and year-based folders, and Save changes.
May 13, 2018 at 11:11 pm in reply to: Remove WordPress Admin Bar + Links for logged in users #430357Hello,
Non-admin users can be kept from the WP Backend and WP Admin Bar (menu) with the setting at:
GeoDirectory – General – Allow user to see wp-admin area and select YES
Geodirectory doesn’t come with options for hiding general menu links, though. You might want to check out a membership plugin for that.
The ad widget can be a good place to create an advertisement for site visitors inviting them to create a listing.
We are working on a new advertising solution and will provide more information when it is available.
We don’t recommend any specific advertising solutions. If you give it a try and run into GD related issues, then let us know and we will be happy help.
2. Map on the front page is not loading listings
3. Images are not uploading in the submit add and the buddy press edit profile sections for avatar and the buddyheader
5. Ajax load for the different plan options is not working to populate the listing detailsAll of these issues should first be addressed by eliminating mixed content errors on the site. Please see this doc: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/mixed-content/
4. Formatting of the ‘add room’ page is off
The page is using the page template from the theme of the site. You can add custom CSS to adjust it. Here’s an example that you can tailor to meet your needs:
div#geodir-wrapper { padding: 100px !important; } div#geodir-wrapper-content { padding: 50px !important; }Instructions for customizing with CSS are here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
1. Checkout is hanging at the payment stage for stripe and PayPal using your invoicing plugin gateways for recurring payments
6. Coupon code discount was not calculated at checkoutPlease post WP Invoicing issues to the appropriate forum:
May 13, 2018 at 9:10 pm in reply to: Translated events do not show with [gd_event_listing] shortcode #430351We will let you know more about the release via WP Easy Updates as soon as we have that information.
This will be a V1 release.
Try adding a search widget to the search page widget area:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#search
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#searchCategories are great! What do you mean about the problem with the breadcrumbs?
If you want to use a custom field, great!
Categories are integrated into SEO, so, you really get a lot more mileage out of them than you do custom fields.
This reply has been marked as private.Yes, you could do it that way, or with our free UsersWP https://userswp.io
No, a plugin would probably not work for that.
It is some sort of custom order, then? Like
Bananas
Oranges
ApplesSomething not alphabetical?
Are you using the default ‘ajax-chained’ widget for the field?
Geodirectory doesn’t support polygons or shapefiles, only point data associated with listings.
