1. is there a way to remove the map from the author page?
Remove the widget from the author page widget area
2. Is there a way to remove “my account” from the navigation?
CSS
.sd-my-account.menu-item { display: none; }3. What would be the URL I use to create a menu item for “Login/Dash”
That would require a customization; instead, we recommend the #loginbox which includes that link.

Select “Redirect to nearest location”
Geolocation is working on your site, just click the compass to see it in action.
That is explained here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/yoast-wordpress-seo-titles-metas-template-variables/#custom-variables
Sorry, what’s the login URL?

This reply has been marked as private.Hello,
I added a listing from the front end without issue and no -1 in the URL.
Can you tell me exactly how to recreate the issue?
The Popular Locations widget sounds like the right match.
It should only be used on pages that have the location in the URL.
Could be one of the GD Home page widget areas, which uses the same template as your location pages.
You can also add it to your listing page, too.

Once you have tried it, customize the style:
Hello,
Geodirectory doesn’t have any features for handling images inside of HTML fields.
It looks like you are in control of those listings, so you can edit all the description text yourself to make it behave the way you want.
Many of the lightbox plugins ‘work’ based on custom classes. You might try looking for one that explains how to add ‘class-xyz’ to your inline image to make it open in a lightbox.
If you need help with that customization please feel free to contact one of the GD Experts at : https://geodirectoryexperts.com
Hello!
That requires a customization described here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/file-upload-custom-field-shortcode/
Let us know how it goes
April 12, 2018 at 9:47 pm in reply to: Only one of the added cities showing up in dropdown for Add Listing form #426323Geodirectory here, in the case of locations, is working with data from Google. The lat/lon of a new listing is sent to Google, Google replies with the ‘names’ of city/region/country. Those values are stored in the DB as locations at GD – Multilocations – Manage Locations.
There was a problem showing up when ‘not Google’ data, data that did not match with Google, was used as the default location.
When new listings are added, you may not like the location. It may not be what you want to read. When that happens, some site managers periodically ‘clean’ up by merging ‘bad’ locations into ‘good’ locations. You can do that at GD – Multilocations – Manage Locations
Try it out and let us know how it goes for you
