I will flag this for the developers to see if there is a filter you can use.
As mentioned in your other topic the ‘gap’ is a setting or custom css from the Extra theme.

Please check to be sure you have set your default location.

I recommend clicking the “Set city on map” button there. Edit, edit city, click button, save.
Try that and let us know if you still have an issue.
Hi Jim,
the Neighborhood drop down should only list each neighborhood once, for sure.
Can you send over the site URL and WP Admin credentials in a private reply, please, so we can check it out?
Thanks
Now I just need to figure out how to either make it full width. 3.) How can I make the locale page full width (at least within the box) and the footer fullwidth. The footer is not fullwidth on the CPT listing page either. All the other pages have a proper layout and fullwidth footer.
At GD – Design – Listing you can adjust the width in percentages of the different sections of the page.
1.) Location Switcher is outside of drop down and doesn’t work on mobile device/mode.
On desktop this can be achieved with some CSS. Try this, and change the width to meet your needs.
#menu-item-gd-location-switcher ul.sub-menu { min-width: 320px !important; }For mobile, it does not work with your theme, as it is designed to open to the right on mobile. There is a rule you can add to hide it on mobile:
media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) #et-mobile-navigation #et-extra-mobile-menu>li:last-child a { display: none !important; }4.) how can I get rid of that big space at the top?
That is coming from your theme, the rule below, so it would need to be customized with CSS.
#main-content { padding-top: 40px; }marking as a duplicate
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/short-codes-how-far-can-they-go/Hi Amy,
You can export your listings and categories and then import them again after you uninstall, so you don’t lose that data.
Hello,
It is not possible to modify the Supreme popular categories without a customization because it is built into the theme.
You might consider hiding it and using the GD Popular Categories Widget on your home page to show more categories and icons.
Hello,
The fastest recommended method is to select them in GD – Places and move them to the trash.
You could also uninstall GD.
Hi,
sorry if I wasn’t clear. GD is sending the emails.
Now that you have added a domain email address, contact your host and ask them why they are blocking the emails from the site.
Magic!
Glad you got it working (sometimes it is important to make that call!)
Hello,
I did a search and I cannot recreate the issue; could you share the link to an event that should show up, and then the link to the search result where you searched for the event (and the event didn’t show up).
Thanks
Excellent, glad you got it working!

Hello Pedro,
what @kor said is correct, and there may be a set-of-settings that could help.
First, make sure the default location is set to the city where you want the map centered.
Then, you can adjust the advanced search redirect settings so the user will be redirected to the default location.See also the 3rd point here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/#redirect
We are reviewing additional ideas about maps for future versions, definitely. Let me ask if: if the home page map was centered on Barcelona, would there then be ‘another’ map widget that would show up on locations pages?
