Hello,
in GD permalinks I set the add-listing page
I also adjusted the default location, and added a test listing to gd_place
I will flag this for the developers to take a look.
That makes sense, so that interactions between the shop owner and customers via comments aren’t counted as reviews.
I see the listing displayed on the map, both pages have maps displaying the listings on the page.
That is the main difference between the Home and Listing map. The Home map displays All the listings of a CPT, while the listing map only displays the listings on the page, and the listings on the page are generally decided by the URL.
There is a ton of data from GD content that is available to Yoast: Page titles, categories, tags, etc.
In both Yoast OR GD – Titles and Metas, you can setup the meta title and description for pages using replacement tags.
Each site should use one or the other, either Yoast OR GD Titles and Metas.
We do not provide support for Yoast, but a site can use Yoast to make use of GD data to create sitemaps or other Yoast outputs.
Hello,
so we are talking apples – to – apples, here, let me ask if this is the kind of location page you are referring to. We start with a listing detail page here:
In Supreme, the location is now shown in the breadcrumbs, but by default most GD sites will show breadcrumbs with links to the locations. So, we can just edit the URL to get a “Location page”
https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/places/united-states/california/san-francisco/
This page does not say, explicitly “All place listings in San Francisco” but that is what is displayed, and the Browser title for the page is set with the META value, using GD – Titles and Metas.
Now, here is another example, the same type of location page, but using GDF Modern theme: https://wpgeo.directory/gdf-modern/places/united-states/pennsylvania/philadelphia/
This one shows the location, but that is a feature of the theme.
You can do something similar, and arguably better, without needing to change anything about your theme, by using the Location Description widget, along with the Location Description settings for each location.
The way this is done with GD V1 is described here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-widgets/#desc
If you are considering custom development, a good next step would be to recreate what you have now with V2 and see if you still have the same need.
Hello,

thanks!
The additional options ‘appear’ within the individual fields.
I verified and noted the sticky tooltips on the sorting options page.
I am unable to reproduce the business hours issue. I went to the add place page and I can see business hours and it expands as expected using chrome.
Hello,
could you tel us how to recreate this issue?
When I use a search widget in the sidebar in the content areas I see search results.
