We will be working on GD V2 to make this easier in the future. For now it is a customization and outside of what we can do in support.
When you say tags, do you want them filtered for location, such that the tags link to the location page of the listing? Or is it ok if the tags just link to the base tag page?

Does “geodir_tags” refers to a custom field? Or is that the “Hotel Tags” taxonomy?
If it is the Taxonomy Tags, this isn’t available as a snippet now, but will be easier to do in the new version of GeoDirectory that will be available for testing soon. Keep your eye on the forum to find out about the release date.

I may be wrong, but I think Kiran was saying it is WPML that is impacting the redirect; the fix is to go directly to a GD permalink.

Under GeoDirectory > Design > Detail Page > Detail Page Tab Settings > Show as List : CHECK
This will show all the tab information in a list.
You can add a “Get Directions” Link at GeoDirectory > Place Settings > Predefined Fields

Which theme are you using? Does it support featured images?
You can create a private reply with your site URL and WP Admin credentials so we can take a look.
In the thread you reference, the member is using Supreme Directory, which comes with built in support for featured images. What we can do is check to see what support your theme has for featured images.
