also, a note about Thrive:
The builder strips inline CSS from the header.
Add CSS to GD > Scripts > Footer instead of header
)Hello,
You can do that with custom fields using “Show in what location”:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#custom
Let us know how that works for you. If you would like us to take a look, make sure your plugins and WP install are up to date, and then create a private reply here with your site URL and Admin credentials.
Thanks
Hello!
I see lots of posts in the forum about how to make the header do different things.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/sticky-header/
Category icon size on home page:
.sd.home .featured-area .geodir-pcat-show img { height: 35px !important; }

Hello!
Can you give us an overview of the use case? We are always listening about new cases.
What specifically about recurring events functionality is important to you? Are you not using other events specific items like listings or maps?
After what you referred to in this thread, what is still missing?https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/event-schedule-functionality/

I have spoken with my colleagues about how the ‘force upgrade’procedure was designed, the reasons for it and the intended use case.
Force Upgrade indeed does not include free packages. There is a workaround, though.
You can create a package, let’s say “Package B” that is recurring, and costs $100.
The you can create a coupon for the “Package B” that gives up to a $100 discount.
When users visit their own listing, they may “upgrade” to another, different, free package, but this is not an option for the “Force Upgrade” in claim procedure.
Let us know if there if you have additional questions about this or related features
Hello!
For clarification, we will need to look at your site. Please make a private reply with your site URL and admin credentials.
Let’s get a list of the things you want here:
1# Comment icon with comment count to show up on listings (anywhere a listing shows)
2# Comment list sorting (options exists, but is not active without Multiratings)Is that all correct?
What are the criteria for sorting comments if not by rating?
As you probably know, if a feature is not shown through the theme, it is mostly likely not present in the template is otherwise deactivated through the settings. This is as opposed to being hidden with CSS.
Hello!
We can take a look to see if we can help. Just make a private reply with your site url and admin credentials. Also please share ftp so we can proceed to diagnose the issue.
Can you provide a link to a page where we can see the problem clearly?
Is this your production site? Or do you have a test site where we can diagnose?
Hello!
There are a number of devs who take on projects from the GD Job forum. The more information you can give about the project, the more likely you are to find the right fit.
You have a good start up there, so repost over here when you are ready: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/forum/geodirectory-jobs/
Hello!
Some members have dealt with this by making two free packages, and using the ‘lowest’ as the default, and then forcing upgrade to the ‘second lowest’ upon claim.
Are you saying that you made a second free package, but that it didn’t show up in the list when forcing upgrade?
Hello,
What do you mean by “Category listing”? Can you share an example url that shows the search results that are not satisfactory, please?
Please create a private reply with your site url and admin credentials so we can take a look.
It is a customization to exclude tags or categories from search.
Hello!
Here’s a solution for adding a new tab with shortcodes: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/shortcodes-in-custom-fields/
Are you going to manually add the shortcode to every listing, to every custom field?
If you don’t want to do that, the tab above might work for you.
As it says here, you will need to edit the template in order to enable shortcodes in a custom field: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/enable-shortcodes-in-custom-fields/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/
Is the content of the shortcode supposed to be different for each listing? Or the same? Are we still talking about business hours?
Hello!
I saw this when I logged in to view the listing linked in the comment above. The listing, before edit, appears to be in ‘only’ the Apparel category. When choosing to edit, the category drop down appears to be blank, with no value set.
Why is the category being unset on edit? This is the question here.
I will flag this for a developer to take a look. Please allow us some time, and keep the credentials active until we can provide a response. Please do also share FTP access.
Emails are sent when the automated expiry process is allowed to execute, yes.
Hello!
Yes! You are correct! We have been looking at it and we found a bug in Supreme Directory. We are assigning an internal task and will get back to you here with the resolution.
Thanks!
