I suspect a cache issue, have you tried clearing cache?

WP user search can be improved with 3rd party plugins.
Yes, ID must be removed, and there isn’t a way around it. We do not provide support for direct-to-database imports.
If the linked posts are linking TO the one you are moving, then yes they would need to be created, along with the franchise links.
You could make a different CPT for brokers and link listings to it.

You can use the chrome tools inspector to see errors in the console, try ctrl-shift-i to open that, then look for ‘console’ to see the errors.
