You can add a label with another GD Post Meta, did you try that?
You might have the search page set as a child page, with a parent page selected. Make sure it has no parent.
Please share wp admin credentials if we need to check the settings.
Unfortunately that feature is not available, but I have taken it up as a suggestion and the developers will consider it for future versions.
I see a 500 there. Try contacting the host again, and if the site is up post back and we can take a look.

500 errors are often caused by a plugin conflict.
Enable debugging and refresh the site to see which plugin is causing the issue. Delete that plugin via FTP and refresh the site. Upload a fresh copy of the plugin and if the problem occurs again then contact the plugin author.
Try disabling non-GD addons to identify the plugin causing the issue.

When you use the shortcode builder, choose GD Map, then for map type select Directory and then adjust the options including showing the legend with categories.
You want to edit the Archive template, not the Archive item.
Check in GD – Settings – Pages for the GD Archive page, then click edit.
