Sorting options do not apply to search results, only to the order of listings on the archive pages or in GD Listings.

Slow Ajax usually means the site needs more resources.

There is a setting in the Location Manager Options to disable the update of the address when the map/pin is moved.

It doesn’t look like you have that set, though. It is almost like the address is locking on purpose, but I have asked the developers to weigh in on the issue.

That error usually appears when the folder for geodirectory is named something besides ‘geodirectory’.

Check that folder and rename it, if necessary.

If I might ask, is there a reason you are installing GDV1? GDV2 is out and ready to go for production sites.

Just install the core plugin from wp.org and then add your membership key at GD – Extensions – Membership
