Try updating the custom post types addon or remove it as it seems like you are not using it at the moment.
I would also recommend disabling Securi and rechecking the page to see if the map will then load.

What you want to do requires a customization like the snippet they have provided.
The Location page needs a “Directory” type map, with a post_type switcher. Using a map in the sidebar is fine, but it must be a Directory type map.
Try replacing the GD Map shortcode in the snippet above with a GD Map set to map_type=”directory” and then setup the options you want.

That isn’t possible without a customization.
Inside GD Settings
GD – Settings – Page – GD Details template – Edit (open the page for edit)
Then look in the right sidebar for the Page Attributes -> Page template and select “Default”

thanks for telling us, we will try to give a better explanation of the value of finding and using the shortcode builder.
The shortcode builder really does have ALL the options and if you hover over the “?” it even has hints and explanations built in!

What you can do is compare the header rows, first, then an extract of 20 rows. Place them into the same sheet and see if they match.
If you think they look ok, then zip those extracts and place them here and we will also take a look.

What you say is true. There are currently 3 different ways to show the excerpt. The only want I can think of to adjust how much is shown is with CSS using the GD Post Meta for post_content . That will put in a gradient that can be adjusted with CSS on the height to adjust how many lines are shown.
Instead of that, you might consider using a custom field that has your excerpt, then hide it in some views.
In either case you will need CSS targeted at the specific GD Listings blocks you are using.
I will share your request with the developers but at this time there isn’t a plan to add that functionality back in. I hope you can understand that is because there are now several other ways to achieve the same outcome, methods that were not available in GDV1.
