You can try hiding it with CSS.

Screenshot missing, so, I don’t understand the first idea. A link, to a map, on the same page?
If you mean GD Categories you can adjust it in order to show subcategories.

We are looking into it on our side and will get back to you with an update.I don’t see a map on that page, but the settings you show should be fine. In fact you can leave the map on “Auto” instead of archive and that should work, too.
If you could, please setup the map and if the problem persists, please make a private reply to this topic where you include your WP Admin credentials so we can check into the settings and find a solution for you.
