You can try using the code snippets plugin instead. The snippet has been tested and works.

If you question V3, then switch to V2.
Using the same set of keys for multiple plugins is ok. The versions need to match, though.

GeoDirectory does not create sitemaps.
If fields don’t have a value entered into the listing then they will not show up.

An example is a package that is free, with the same features as the paid package. A Package like that can be used to show off the features but you wouldn’t want the public to claim it because…it’s free.
Fields that have a numeric or alphabetical value can be used as sorting options, for the most part.
About business hours, it sounds like you might want to sort into a list of places that are open, now, is that right?
It’s an idea, but not one that is currently possible. I will make a note so the developers can consider the idea for future versions.
The developers will check into that. There is a 403 error for the static map. It should work even if you have OSM selected, as far as I know, but the developers will check.

It is not possible to remove that, otherwise the listing cannot be saved.
GeoDirectory does not come with a list of all regions and cities everywhere. Instead, locations are added with new listings.

Yes, there is a revisions system for GDV2 that works with WordPress revisions. Revisions are enabled or disabled in your wp-config.php file
Visit your custom fields for the CPT like:
Places -> Settings -> Custom Fields
Open each field like ‘website’ and choose ‘Show in extra output location” -> Details page sidebar. Then it will show on the details page.
At this time the addon does not support additional custom fields, so, what you are asking about would require a customization that goes beyond support. To do it yourself you would need to add significant new logic into the addon following the pattern of what you see in the addon files.
