Listings outside the default location won’t work right with the Location Manager disabled. Try enabling it and checking again.
You can also run the setup wizard again, skip the items you have already done, and use the options to setup the sidebar widgets.

Redirection is no longer available with GDV2 and would require a customization; we do not offer snippets for that feature.
You can hide the image with CSS. It is not recommended to hide them, though, because they are integrated with the claim and edit buttons.
