I have flagged your question for the developers to respond.
We have some general notes about performance here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/performance/You also should use an archive map on the search page template.
If you add the Category (field) to the search bar, that will ‘stick’ such that the value will still be selected when search results are shown, which I think is more akin to the example you provide.
About the archives. GD Categories has several options that can be used different ways on different templates. While it isn’t ‘linked’ it does respond to the template URL when used on the archive template.
I have made a note of the request to make the search bar more aware of archive pages.
Please clarify with a screenshot.
For more info about how it works, please contact the plugin author. For the purposes of the conversation GD is just supplying a Custom Post Type with a single and an archive.

Same place. They are all just categories.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/categories/Try an archive map instead. You are using a directory type map, now.
You can add a link to your menu to send users to your login or registration page. Have you tried that?
These will not work:
[ninja_form id=5][ninja_form id=2]Only the GD Ninja Forms widget/element should be used if you are looking for the integration feature.
Any of the experts here can help:
