Try the UWP Login element. That will show a dashboard for users that are already logged in.
Otherwise you can simply provide menu links to /account/ and /profile/ using the method I showed you in our meeting.We are unable to help with debugging customizations here in the forum.

They used a 3rd party widget to provide links to tags.
You can also hand code that with HTML, if you have a set of tags for which you want to provide links.
In either case it is not a question of search but of how you want to share links to CPT Archive pages (for tags).
What you are looking for is the link /profile/
Not /account/
In your UsersWP settings check to see which page is set to the profile.
