Try our other tool, https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/status/#location-duplicates
Here is where they come from and another way to fix them:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/better-search-replace-plugin/Let us take a look at that and we’ll get it fixed up.
Please write back in a private reply and share WP Admin credentials.
It would help if you could point us to the right page where we can see the tags issue right away.
Thanks
The location manager options for the add location page has an option to ‘Disable move map pin from changing address fields’
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/location-manager/If you use that, you can enter any address you want that is part of a real country and then drag the map marker and it won’t change the address. This setting is usually for directories with listings in places that Google or OSM don’t cover like a rural area but could be used in your case, too.
However, this setting is global, so, it will disable the map pin update function for all CPTs.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Got it, yes, the developers will take a look.
Please share WP Admin credentials in a private reply so someone from our team can check on the settings.
If you are using BP, you must change the slug of the search page to something besides /search/
Try now. I followed these directions
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#catSorry, try the GD Popular Post View widget and be sure to click the option to enable the location filter. That will make sure it ONLY SHOWS LISTINGS IN THAT LOCATION.
Sometimes, on sites with lots of CPTs, there can be an issue with db tables.
We have a tool here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/status/#clear-version
GD Clear version numbers. That will re-run installation scripts and check to make sure tables are present. I ran that.
I can see on the themer layout that ‘Places Archive’ is now present. That is what changed and was fixed. Good!
“All Archives” was not including the places archive.
Working now!

Open up your HTML custom field and show the advanced settings.
Choose the option to render embedded media file URLs.
That will also render shortcodes.
Be careful! If you allow listing owners to edit the field they can add shortcodes that may break your layout! That’s weird because I saw it right away in the GD Core file.
With V1 you would adjust the GD Popular Post View widget in the GD Home content area and set your CPT posts to display to 200 or greater than the posts in that CPT on your site.
You can edit anything you want, but we don’t provide support for customizations here in the forum outside of some general instructions about how to customize templates: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/
The GDV1 Location page is the GD Home template.
Try the tool for that: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/status/#term-counts
