Ah, Location Description is available now.
Currently gd_locations only shows cities.

We will update you here once they have looked at that feature.As long as there are no categories or actual listings the CPTs will not display in the search or map post type select.

Maps include an option to show all posts, yes, but this is for archive pages with paging, where additional results show on separate pages.
Generally users should not end up on the search page unless there are results showing.
The map will not show all posts if the search is empty.Ah ok, then you can see this example for using GD Post Meta instead of output locations, which will give you more control of the display

I reinstalled/created your GD pages, they were missing.
I altered the search page map code, works now.Let us know if you run into more issues.
Edit the custom fields and remove “Show in what locations” -> Sidebar
Edit the GD Detail page template and remove or alter the GD Post Images element
