    Hi Jan,

Yes, you can search with Postcode or listing name. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#search

    Hi Kor,
thanks for your answer. Sorry, I have expressed myself wrong.
Is it possible to have both in a search box? So postal code and name?

    Hi jan,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, you can insert both into different search boxes. Search For – Name and Near – Postcode.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
oh thought this is possible with the Advanced Search AddOn. Do you have an idea how i can realize that?

    Another Question.
I want to have a map on the search results page that shows me the location I’m looking for. All are still displayed. Which shortcode should I use?

You can add a listing map widget to the search page widget area.
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/

You should upgrade to GDV2. When you do, then you can edit the search page template and add a map.

    Hello Alex,

    thanks for your answer.
    I´ve already installed GDV2.
Excuse the question, but where can I edit the search page template?
At the moment this is my content of the search page:
    [gd_notifications]
    [gd_map map_type=’directory’ width=100% height=500]
    [gd_search]
    [gd_loop layout=1]
    [gd_loop_paging]

The map shows every listing, but i want to have the locations of my search. Where I can change the map?

    To edit GD Templates, open

WordPress – Pages – Search for Search or GD

It sounds like you already found it. Try setting map type to “auto”

    Hi Alex,
thanks for your answer, but it´s not working.
    Do you have another idea?
And is it possible to show after the message “No listings were found matching your selection.” all Listings?

I reinstalled/created your GD pages, they were missing.
I altered the search page map code, works now.

Let us know if you run into more issues.
