Please add start and end dates to all your events.
You can do it perhaps more easily with bulk export, edit, then import.
That should fix this issue. When searching, the data is broken, which breaks the search.
Event dates are required for events. Please share the URL and wp admin and we will take a look.
What type of field is it?
The forum is powered by BBpress. We use a custom system for managing the accounts and profiles.
No, once import is complete, the imported listings should have complete data for all required fields including location.
Are you at a point where you woudl consider doing the import again?
You could export the listings you have gotten into the site, edit the details in the CSV, and reimport. As a thought experiment, imagine what would happen if GD release EXIF support and 5% of everyone’s photos rotated. Funny idea right?
We could make an option for it, but, we are trying to make rather fewer options to cut down on the potential confusion.
That said, we will consider it for a future version. I could see there being a ‘rotate’ button, in addition to the caption and trash can options currently available on images uploaded to listings (and UWP profile and banners, too).
In the meantime, there is a partial solution for Windows users, to set their File Explorer to display “orientation” from EXIF data in Detail view. Any images in Portrait should then be processed into landscape so the orientation on the computer matches that on the site. It should be noted that ‘the industry has spoken’ in support of this EXIF data because as yet there is no option in Windows at least to simply igonore the EXIF orientation settings.

GDV2 uses the widget areas of the theme. To clarify, and answer your question, No, we are not aware of any GD issues that would prevent you from exporting from one GD site and importing into another.
As Guust points out, though, settings must be aligned.
Try it out and then let us know what errors you run into and we will happily guide you towards a solution.
The map shows the Map Icon associated with the “default” category, which is a distinction made when choosing the listing category inside the add/edit listing form.

This reply has been marked as private. The ‘gap’ as you say is the spacing between the list items.
That is not adjustible except with quite a lot of custom CSS (read: customization).
We will be revisiting the gd_categories for a design review after the V2 release to see about adding addditional design options. I have added your idea about adjusting spacing between category items as a potential option.
That error is due to your fb app not being approved to use those scopes.
Did you already submit your app for review? So far as we know, no app (ours, others) have been approved yet to use those scopes/permissions.

For the developers the issue is that this shortcode shows icon and label when added to the archive template:
[gd_post_meta key=”event_dates” show=”value”]
