Have you tried switching themes?
Either one, add them yourself, invite others to add them, either one.
GD doesn’t have a feature for privacy like that.
Here’s an idea about that: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-make-your-wordpress-blog-completely-private/
To allow events to be added, adjust the setting at
GD, Settings, Design, Navigation, Allow post type to add from frontend – (add Events here)
Review the other options to adjust as needed

A task has been created to look into, thanks for your patience while we do that.
To show the Details page GD Tabs as a list, edit the Details template and the gd_single_tabs shortcode
[gd_single_tabs show_as_list=”1″]
Read more about it here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/page-design/If you remove the content from the add listing page it should redirect to UsersWP login.
Make sure all the UsersWP pages are setup correctly. If you haven’t already, once you are logged into the Google console, then go back to your site in the same browser, then into the GD settings and into the Map settings and use the “Generate API” key button inside GeoDirectory settings to create a new key with all the necessary APIs. Of course you can create it in the same project where you have attached your billing account. If billing is setup correctly, the key will work. It may take a few minutes to work, but it will work.
Adding a restriction will not make it work, and may confuse things. I would wait until I saw it work, then add a restriction afterwards.
For the restriction, see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/google/#secure
http referrer
my-domain-name.com/*
However, you should follow the instructions in the console to add your restriction: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key
DO make sure you have updated all your plugins and themes, including the parent theme directory starter.
If that doesn’t fix it you can write back with a private reply and include WP Admin so that someone on our team can check out your settings.
This reply has been marked as private.I have tested this on another site and it looks like the tabs and sidebar displays for linked places are working, but the gd_linked_posts is not working.
I have flagged your topic for the developers take a look.
Yes, because Listings are for text. You want the block editor there?
This reply has been marked as private. You are using the wrong version of Directory Starter.
Install the V2 version of DS, then run the GD setup wizard to install widgets and menu items.
