    Please disregard last ticket as I have worked it out.
    It works perfectly fine in Firefox.
    Problem not compatible or error with Chrome.
    My Chrome is up-to-date so no idea why!
    Hopefully it helps if someone going through the same thing.

    It doesn’t work for me.

    An error occurred while updating GeoDirectory Advance Search Filters: Login details for GeoDirectory failed! Please check GeoDirectory > Auto Updates and that your membership is active. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    Check in membership I have added sites and it shows:
    Membership Active 1 / Unlimited April 29, 2016 Manage Sites No upgrades available

    Do i have to manage sites for INDIVIDUAL ADD-ON? or just MEMBERSHIP is OK?

    I opened geodirevents-en_US.po but couldn’t find ID 92 .

    I’ve sorted that out now. I will make attempt to duplicate another event CPT when i’ll have time.

    Hi,

    Yes, i agree it should be added to both parent and child.

    In ‘Add a listing’ page:
    There is no issue when using Ajax Chain Category because in order to see child categories users have to select parent category first, then they able to see child nodes.
    But if Category Display type as Select (not Multi Select) is used, then user can select a child category straight away, and they cannot able to select a parent node. So what i am saying is
    if Category Display type as Select
    and if a child node is selected then
    the parent of that child should be automatically selected in the backend as well.

    Please check on your system if it does that.

    Maybe i haven’t explained myself clearly about this, hope clearer this time.

    Thanks for the clarification. Yes, i have set up categories and sub categories for events but the list becoming messy. Ideally, another event CPT would allow me to separate things to make enduser friendly navigation and speed of loading.

    BTW I have problems with linking event with Business? I have turned on the link feature and it shows up on front end listing but when i put a business name in, it shows nothing on search.
    Is the Event link Business only work with Place CPT? or does it work with other CPT as well? if so then it should pick up all the listings from all CPT right?

    2. I get you. But why if i change Category Display Type from Select to Ajax Chained and it works.
