    Stiofan / Paolo,

Let me appologise first. My post was strong, and clearly has struck a nerve, more than intended. Sorry for that.

As I mentioned, I believe the GD products are the best on the market, and the support has always been there in the past when things have gone wrong.

    Regards,

    CSGL

    Wow!

It is pretty irresponsible that this is still being sold. Almost criminal!

abdellah afoullous, there is a problem with the Facebook integration which makes this app unusable.

There are many of us simply being told by the developer “to wait”, with little or no information about a resolution.

Meanwhile, our websites (many of which rely on the social importer) lay stagnant and dormant, in some cases losing revenue.

    Geodirectory Support,

Your plugins and support and entire package is superb. That’s why we found and paid money for your services. Your customer support is normally great. However in this case, I’m afraid you’re letting us down I feel.

While there is much out of your hand, some reassurance or information would be greatly appreciated.

Time frames for development of a new version, any suggestions and information on the different Facebook aspects the app uses so we might have a chance of gaining approval ourselves, and importantly any plan to reimburse / extend subscription to your clients (is) who have not been able to use the app we paid for for at least 6 months now.

Please help us out a little.

    Regards,

    CSGL

    Hi All,

I’m still confused. Is this a submission a step each user of this Social Importer must take separately?

It all seems a bit confused. Maybe a little more guidance from the developers to let us know what we must do here.

    Thanks

Please confirm: Is there anything I must do from my site, or is this going to happen at your end? I’m still a bit confused.

    Thanks,

Thank you for your quick reply…again!

    Understand you response.

What about at least a custom field as a multiselect drop-down box with another CPT’s listing.

From the example above then, in the CPT-Provider’s AddListing page, there would be a dropdown multiselect field containing the values of the CPT-Organisation.

    Thanks…

    Hi,

    Thanks for the fast reply.

In the end I found that the problem was with Facebook Open Graph and API issues, and specifically due to the tags not being set properly.

I found a work-around using a plugin “Facebook Open Graph, Google+ and Twitter Card Tags
By Webdados”. It is not perfect, but it does the job for now.

I guess then I change this from being a ‘support ticket’ to ‘FYI’ post!

    Thanks.

OK – Don’t worry. I found the problem, and it was not with GD.

To help others, I took advice I saw on another ticket, and went through all the Facebook App settings. I found a typo in my site URL.

    Thanks. Sorry.
