I’m sorry for the confusion, but I’m unable to get it to work.

I’ve followed the directions here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/#gd_post_address but nothing has changed. I’m not using a sidebar or anything to display my address, I’m just using the shortcode. I’m not sure if that’s the problem or not, but I’ve tried the method above to no avail. Am I missing something?

Actually, I need to amend what I previously said: I do have other issues in mobile, so maybe it isn’t specifically related to the business hours CSS.

I’ve customized the layout of my detail page, as detailed here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#columns

I love how it looks, but mobile view jumbles everything. As columns try to shrink, I lose information (email addresses are too long to fit in their container, etc.). Is there any way to make these columns stack upon mobile viewing? So that the three columns would layout in one column for mobile viewing? I’m thinking these may alleviate the business hours problem entirely as well.

    Thanks!

This is what I’m wanting, except I’d like it to apply site-wide. I’m actually not using widgets anywhere, just shortcode. So on my archive and listing pages, the address displays as above. Is there any way to customize the layout of address tags for the entire site? Every place the GD Post Address shortcode is used?

Okay sounds good. So, I have another question – I can start a new thread if necessary, but I have a feeling it may be this same solution.

When I use address shortcode, the address displays like this:

    Address: Street Address
    City
    State
    Zip Code
    Country

I’d like it to be more like this:

    Address:(break here)
    Street Address
City, State (these on the same line)
    Zip Code
    Country

Would this also be something I change with the translation method?

I’m sorry for probably sounding like an amateur (which I totally am), but is this really the easiest way to change two bits of text on my site?

Honestly I’d even be okay if both phrases were simply replaced with “Service Times”. I understand that this would provide a fix, but I don’t need to change text for anything else on my site, so this seems like a bit of overkill.

I’m curious about the answer to this too. Is there not any way to account for extra characters or misspellings? We have a location title “2|42” (with a bar in it) but it’s verbally called “two forty-two” so many people try to search “242” but it doesn’t come up. Is there not a way for search terms to pull up the closest option instead of only exact matches?

Oh I’m so sorry! I totally didn’t realize that you could select multiple times per day – this basically will solve my problem! I have a few follow-up questions:

    1. Is there a way to list Sunday as the first day of the week? My WordPress settings are already set to this, but the Business Hours dropdown still shows Monday first.

    2. Is there a way to only show days with open times? Most of our entries will only have a couple of days with services. I’d rather it just show the days with service times as opposed to listing 5 days of “closed”.

Unfortunately yes. There may be something I’m missing, but I need to offer options for day (not date) and start time, with multiple times available per day. For instance, I’d like a user to be able to select “Thursdays: 6:00pm, 8:45pm” – specifying that there are two events occurring every Thursday, one at 6:00 and one at 8:45. It’s my understanding that the “Time” custom field can only select a time, and also only allows one time to be selected.
