I had a small problem regarding menu dropdowns and already contacted Layers support to take a look at the site before I saw your reply.
I’ll post my WP admin credentials to take a look. Even though, I’m more puzzled than before. In the meantime I found out that my hosting provider activated mod_pagespeed on the server( I still use shared, though the biggest package) and don’t know if it will work with GD Booster as I’m not too familiar with Pagespeed.
Put the old licence key and finally, it worked. Thank you. 🙂
Surprisingly, using the idea, to manually change wp-content using wordpress config file, gave me the same problem as above( with iThemes Secyrity) but tried it now, for the second time and everything just works. The only problem is with Buddypress as the users have to reselect profile photos.
It works with minor problems here and there. In the backend, wordpress options menu, Places element, before Geodirectory misses it’s logo.
Also location categories pins aren’t there either. And they look like this mysite.com/test2/content/uploadshttp:/mysite.com/test2/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Attractions.png But this can be fixed by editing every category and reselecting the icon.
I know the same way of doing it. But in the meantime I installed iThemes security and found the option there. I’ll test everything on a demo installation and come with a reply after.
I have those in my .po file but as strange as it seems it’s not picked the translation for “place category” or “place tags” respectivelly, but the translation for “place” and translation for “category/ tags”.
I guess tomorrow I’ll finish my site, and take another look.
Ok, so after I disable the location sharing from browser settings I also need to celar the browser cache.
Just to know what I’ll write in my terms and conditions file, for the users.
When I made the translation I found and translated both place category and place tags but on my install at last, the ones picked up were Place translation and Category or Tags translations, separated. 🙁
Ok, so GD doesn’t have a feature like this. If I can’t modify the plugin myself, I’ll probably hire someone or solve the problem with Contact form 7.
I’ll post here for less clutter on the forum. Found one issue regarding translation. Location word gets translated and appears multiple times on the core, single or in sentences. Wich is good minus one thing.
In details page Location Category and Location Tags look weird with Location and Category/ Tags translated separattely. Because the words here switch places and for example the sentence Location Category becames “categorie locatie” … Otherwise, with words translated but in the same order it sounds like “I hamburger eat”
Oke, problem fixed. Forgot to add in the array the elements I want to keep in the sidebar 😀 Now it looks exactly how I want. With post a review link, edit link, add to favorite and share this under the post title only.
I had a problem and my hosting company although, a decent one doesn’t have 24h support.
Tested now and it removes all the isting info sidebar not only the parets I want. Maybe I can trigger the function to those only…
Also I found a problem. After I add those in the desired position as you explained to Abubakar, when I stop them from showing in the sidebar, they stop showing in the custom position too.
Resolved my problem reading this topic. Unfortunatelly I can’t see any button to mark it as resolved.
