I’ll certainly let you know if it happens again.
Thanks!
October 16, 2018 at 7:06 pm in reply to: Custom Place information checkboxes not working after update #449939This definitely wasn’t browser or IP specific caching – we checked multiple browsers and a staging environment from multiple places across the country. Clearing CloudFlare, local WP site caching and hosting caching didn’t resolve. BUT opening and resaving sections did, so we’re happy campers!
Thanks!
October 16, 2018 at 5:01 pm in reply to: Custom Place information checkboxes not working after update #449887Thanks. I had changed some settings but not those specific fields. I have edited each of our custom fields and that appears to have fixed the issue.
Appreciate it!
June 3, 2016 at 4:09 pm in reply to: After Listing is Claimed, where is "edit" link for user? #202970Indeed, I did not. Making that change, everything works like a charm! Thanks for the extended support on something beyond the basic plugin functionality.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I dug a bit deeper and discovered two things:
First, I was using the plugin “User Switching” to emulate being logged in as another user. Evidently the emulation is less than 100% as GeoDirectory does not show the Edit link under these conditions. When ACTUALLY logged in as the user, the “Edit this post” link appears.
Second, I am trying to setup claimed listings for my existing 400+ users without making them each claim their own listings. I created a record in wp_geodir_claim with what I think is the appropriate data and changed the value for “claimed” from 0 to 1 in wp_deodir_gd_place_detail. The “Owner Verified Listing” banner appears on the listing itself, but the “Edit this post” link does not. I’ve attached two small exports of example data.
Listing ID 5524 “Kelley Finnerty” was claimed by using the UI and works correctly. (claimed by user “testclaim”, password is “password”)
Listing ID 5629 “Sara Nuahn” is the one for which I entered data directly into the database. (claimed by user “sara_nuahn”, password is “password”)I have created an Admin user for you and will include credentials in a separate private reply. (I don’t mind publishing the passwords above because they are Subscriber level access and will only exist on the temporary staging site for the next few hours.)
Is there another piece of data Claim Listings relies on to determine whether to show the “Edit this post” link?
Did I enter any of the data wrong when creating my record manually?
Is there a better way to setup Claim relationships without forcing each user to go through the process? Thanks again!
March 26, 2016 at 5:45 pm in reply to: Advanced Search with Custom Fields returns No Listings Found #146447That did the trick! Thank you so much for the hands-on help.
March 26, 2016 at 4:42 pm in reply to: Advanced Search with Custom Fields returns No Listings Found #146386Yes, this is on a managed server with WP Engine.
I have granted your user Super Admin access, however, this is a LIVE environment with ~100 live client sites, so PLEASE BE GENTLE! This is the only site running GeoDirectory, however.

It’s not the text search that I’m having problems with. When you check any of the boxes, for example anything from “Insurances Accepted” or “Services” no results are returned.
Thanks for the tip on the regions. I’ll get them cleaned up.
