Found a small problem…

I have set GD to use my own static home page. i.e. unchecked “Set geodirectory home page as your home”

This worked fine in my last theme. However, turning this plugin on it now included the map on my home page above all my content.

I *think* the following code in the plugin is causing this. I am just not sure how to fix it after trying different things…

function geodir_genesis_home_sidebar() {
		global $wp;
		if ( $wp->query_vars['page_id'] == get_option( 'geodir_location_page' ) || is_home() && !$_GET['geodir_signup'] ) {
        	dynamic_sidebar('geodir_home_top');
		}
}

Any ideas on how I can fix this code in the plugin?

Genesis compatibility is done

Great news Paolo! – I am actually moving to Genesis and giving up on Avada as there are still too many compatibility issues.

Hoping that Genesis will work well with GD so I can actually release my new site.

Since you mentioned it, is an ecommerce addon that will allow listing owners to have their own online stores in the roadmap? That will be an awesome feature.

+1 on this. I could REALLY use something like this. 🙂

I also have this problem with the Avada theme… I tried your js files and it partially fixed it… It now pops up a dialog for entry but you cannot cancel out using the top right X to close the dialog. (The dialog just stays put)

P.S… I am testing this without any plugins running except the GeoDirectory plugins.

I am still not clear on exactly what the following fields are for:

“Difference in Search Range”
and
“Expand Search Range”

Can someone please explain what each one of the fields above are for and how to use them?
