Hi Patrik
Just to let you know I was never able to resolve this issue with godaddy.
Instead I cloned a old website which used GDV1 and converted it to GDV2 and somehow that works.
You can mark this as resolved as it probably isn’t a theme or plugin issue.
Thanks
Extra note, it appears to do the same thing on the Geodirectory location’s page. Not sure if that helps at all

Thanks for looking into this.
I am hosting with virtual shared server using Godaddy. From what I have read/see they do not have caching enabled on this type of plan. I have another website, hosted on the same server, which is using GDV1 together with Userswp and this site does not have the issue I am experiencing on the GDV2 site. The GDV1 site doesn’t have a WP caching plugin either so not sure why/how it would be caching on one site and not the others. This is why I was leading towards the issue being WP side, although this isn’t my area of expertise.
Could it have anything to do with GDV1 having a predefined homepage which somehow refreshes the cache?
Looking forward to any additional input / suggestions.
Also, would you be able to point me to the area where the handling code is stored?
Thanks

If I change the login redirect in the backend (under the userswp –> login) to the homepage then when a user logs in it redirects them to the homepage and the “login” is updated to “account”. Obviously this is not idea as generally logging in should take you to the last page visited. Thanks Stiofan
I ended up just adding back in the code from supreme V1 as I preferred your original my account option 🙂
Hi Guust
Removing the physical address works however I want listings to have a physical address so that isn’t really a solution for me.
I was hoping there would be a way to target the specific pages with CSS like I did with V1.
If you know other suggestions let me know and I will try, otherwise I will keep trying.
Side note : The tag and category listings pages has the adjustable map sidebar however the normal search feature doesn’t. Just looks a bit weird having the option on one and not the other.
Hi Guust,
The GD Search page is set with these shortcodes :
[gd_search]
[gd_loop_actions]
[gd_loop layout=1]
[gd_loop_paging]The GD Archive page is set with these shortcodes :
[gd_category_description]
[gd_search]
[gd_loop_actions]
[gd_loop layout=1]
[gd_loop_paging]So no map shortcode there but it still shows is one of the other shortcodes picking up the map? I am using Supreme V2 so not sure if that is what is affecting it?
Thanks
Hi Guys,
You can mark this as resolved.
Changing the slug from /search to /browse fixed it up.
I will post my CSS question into a new post.
Thanks
Thanks guys
