Hi Guust,
it’s not exactly correct, as the title stopped at “Evaluación (…) abuso infantil y violencia bas“… while the real title is:Evaluación del Proyecto “Prevención y medidas de protección frente al abuso infantil y violencia basada en Género“.
The URL has the full title:
http://wp2.dominicanasolidaria.org/vacantes/dominican-republic/distrito-nacional/santo-domingo/consultorias/evaluacion-del-proyecto-prevencion-y-medidas-de-proteccion-frente-al-abuso-infantil-y-violencia-basada-en-genero/… and in the back-end, the listing title is fully displayed (see attached pic).
I’ve no idea why the entry-title interrupts like that on the front-end.
Thx,
gianniHi Guust,
I did try to check with the inspector, and even red the frame topic, but it seems more a limit in the word count, cause the title is chopped in the middle of the frame (or 2nd line). This is the detail page: you can see that the url shows the full title.
Thx,
gianniNovember 19, 2014 at 11:12 pm in reply to: How to mark all category for places in homepage map #21970Hi Paolo,
sorry if in these days I’m a bit GeoTheme nostalgic, but I remember that I loved to have the map showing all markers when no category was pre-checked, and when the user checks one specific category, only markers of that category were showing up.I know everybody has different requests, but I think it’s better to have a map full of markers than having the user staring at the “No Records Found” message when no category is selected.
Would it be difficult to achieve that? (IF no cat is selected, then show all markers).
Thx,
gianniHi,
I also tried to set the sidebar width lower than 30%, but it seems that 30& is the minimum width allowed (I would need: 20 + 40 + 30).
Thanks,
gianniHi John,
don’t know if risoto2000 already has a solution, but I’d like to have this feature implemented in my site too.
I have one CPT called “Organizations” and 3 more CPTs called: Projects, Vacancies, Contests.Users are Organization representatives who firstly create a Org Profile and then start posting new listings (as projects, events, vacancies, contests).
I’d like to give them the possibility to link those CPTs + Events to the Organization who create them on the fron-end.
Also, would be great to have custom tabs (like the “related listings”) inside de Organization detail page.
Looking forward to hear from you,
best regards,
gianniThanks Stiofan!
Cheers,
gianniThx Paolo, I appreciate that,

it’s a learning curve for me, i’m trying to do my best 😉.geodir_category_list_view li.geodir-gridview .geodir-content .geodir-entry-content { display: inline; }
I think you can mark the topic as resolved.
Regards,
gianniHi Guust,
I quite prefer the map on the top section, cause it gets really tiny when placed on the sidebar.
Of course, if it’s not too complicate to replicate from GeoTheme.
Thanks for your support,
gianniNovember 17, 2014 at 12:12 am in reply to: Excerpt not showing in 3-4 columns grid view, only in list and 2 columns view #21681Hi Guust,
actually, if you have a 3 column view on the homepage (100% width, no sidebars), you have too much room to leave the listings without an excerpt, it looks quite empty. But, no matter how many columns grid view you have set, you’ll always get a 1 column grid view when accessing the site from an iPhone, or a 2 column view on the iPad, so the excerpt really would be helpful.
If someone don’t want the excerpt to show up, just put a 0 value on the word count option… but the option to have the excerpt on every grid view should be really appealing.
Thx for considering this option,
best regards,
gianniThanks Stiofan, and sorry for posting here, I didn’t want to be redundant opening another topic with the same issue, but since now I’ll follow your advise.
Thought the notification issue would be an easy fix, but I had to open a ticket with BlueHost support… waiting for them.Regards,
gianniHi Stiofan,
I’m sorry to keep posting on this topic, but I still have problems with email notifications when a new listing is submitted.I’ve already followed the instructions given by Paolo about New Users notifications:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/no-gd-emails-sent/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/no-password-email-sent/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/the-notifications-do-not-work/All other notifications are working fine thanks to Mail Bank. Just the New Submitted Listings notification are missing.
Please help.
Regards,
gianniHi Simone,
I couldn’t read your last reply (I red the first one on my inbox through the notification message), but I discovered that it’s not an easy task to move the site to another directory:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPressI’ll think about a work around or to simply reinstall.
Cheers,
