I was explaining to Stiofan, the point to him being:
The only two labels that are shared across CPTs is the “listing title” and “listing description”, and they can only be translated once in the core plugin.
And your question being: What can we do about that?
I notice there are some incompatible plugins, like https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#bp-global-search, and that you have 35 active plugins.
The Boss theme also has a lot of custom code that interferes with other plugins, so without being able to investigate further, there is little we can do I think. Sorry.June 8, 2016 at 12:48 am in reply to: Want to create a cover page that links to geodirectory homepage and blog #205169You’re welcome 🙂
You’re welcome 🙂
Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/ and upload the Mo file to the correct folder using FTP.
You need to use correct HTML code in the PO file, instead of
Veuillez lire et accepter les Termes & Conditionsyou should use
Veuillez lire et accepter les Termes & amp ; ConditionsThat might explain a lot of other issues you have, because you are translating to French.
http://www.ascii.cl/htmlcodes.htm
PS: the code above for
& amp ;should not have spaces.
You’re welcome 🙂
I only created a MO file for your current PO files, I have not made any other changes.
Fixed it again, but we cannot keep doing this, please try to find out what you are doing wrong.
Backup what I have done now and do a few tests to see if there is a setting in your PoEdit that needs changing or seek assistance from PoEdit. Thanks.Go to GD > Multilocations and select “List drilled-down Regions, Cities.” in the switcher settings.
No, that is not possible. The default search is the WP search which searches the listing description too.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#howThat is indeed opposite to what is supposed to happen, and I can not replicate that on my test site.
Can you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply so we can investigate. Thanks.June 7, 2016 at 12:41 pm in reply to: How to detect if a listing is premium, to hide other elements from sight #204610If you use a price package that is featured, then in the package settings, you can turn off the related listings tab for those listings only.
I’ll get Paolo to look at your question too, he might know how to hide widgets on a detail page that shows a featured listing, or a listing of a particular price package.I added some CSS to GD > design > scripts
Please check.I’ll get Paolo to have a closer look. When adding an “all day” event, the sidebar on the detail page shows the current time as the end time, and the category page shows start and end time as midnight to midnight instead of being hidden.
You are not using the “GD > Loginbox” widget anywhere, but the “GDF Welcome” widget and “s2member login” widget.
