October 1, 2019 at 9:19 am in reply to: Franchise with employee listings for each Office location #511031If you want to add individual employee details then you will need an extra CPT.
Searching can be done by one CPT at the time only, so visitors would need to search for employees, and then the employee listing will be connected to the business listing in another CPT.
Limiting access to certain pages and searches is not part of GD support, you can contact the Editor developers for that. Thanks
October 1, 2019 at 9:12 am in reply to: Custom fields not shown in map bubble/details page sidebar #511030I added the GD Output Location widget to the Detail page sidebar, that will show all fields marked for the sidebar now. Adjust as required.
The map bubble issue is because Listimia overwrites the GD map bubble.
Check this file: /wp-content/themes/listimia/geodirectory/map-popup.php
You can add the relevant shortcode to display the fields there, similar to what is on line 22 of that file.<div class="py-1">[gd_post_meta key='x_accessible_entrance' show='icon-value' alignment="left"]</div>Thanks
October 1, 2019 at 6:49 am in reply to: Is it possible to do a manual review through the backend? #511015You can import reviews:
GD > Settings > Import/Export > ReviewsThanks
October 1, 2019 at 6:42 am in reply to: Search was not successful for the requested address. #511013You’re welcome 🙂
You’re welcome
No, that is in the content area of the front page.
So you would add a GD Listings shortcode or block for example.
Just like https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/ [scroll down].Thanks
September 30, 2019 at 9:04 pm in reply to: Franchise with employee listings for each Office location #510991Is it not simpler to have one CPT with franchises for the branches, and a multiselect for types of “employees with distinct services functions”.
That way you can tick the functions you are looking for and search by location.Or do you want to add each employee by name, contact details etc too?
September 30, 2019 at 9:01 pm in reply to: Search was not successful for the requested address. #510989I think that the GeoLocation only works using the Google MAP API, but that key does not have billing added.
I’ll get one of the developers to have a closer look too.
Switching OSM and Google APIs shows the different errors. Thanks
September 30, 2019 at 7:06 pm in reply to: Search was not successful for the requested address. #510970The demo uses the Google Map APIs, not OSM.
Can you check the password please, so we can log in.
ThanksSeptember 30, 2019 at 6:59 pm in reply to: Can the Events add on be its own page separate from the Directory page #510969Change the GD Categories element to only show categories from your Places CPT, by changing the shortcode [or block element] from
[gd_categories]to
[gd_categories post_type="gd_place"]on the Location page:
GD > Settings > Pages > Location page > EditThanks
Add the Location Switcher to the menu or use it as a widget.
Then your visitors can first navigate to their city or region.
Add the GD Categories element to the location page, and then following those category links will only show the listings in that category for the chosen city or region.
ThanksSeptember 30, 2019 at 6:04 pm in reply to: Can the Events add on be its own page separate from the Directory page #510957That video is of the old V1 version.
I am not sure what you mean with “the Events categories show up on the Directory (Locations) page”, can you post the URL of that page and also your WP admin details in a private reply, then we can check the settings you are using for that page
Thanks
You’re welcome 🙂
September 30, 2019 at 6:00 pm in reply to: Custom fields not shown in map bubble/details page sidebar #510955PLease post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will check it out.
