Look at your Advanced Search options. You can set GD to detect and ask if your visitors want to be redirected to their closest location.
Can you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply so we can check your settings? It does not sound quite right.

Sure, have a look at GD > Multilocations > Settings.
You can restrict countries, regions or cities to your default only, or to a selection of entries already in the system.

It looks like you need to run GD > GD Tools, there seem to be some templates gone missing.

I have changed the default post to hospitalities because there are no Places in either location as Stiofan said.
But if you reset it to Places as default post type, you cannot switch between CPTs using the bar on the bottom of the map. There is a JS error, I’ll get Stiofan to look at that again later.

You might need to make a few simple tweaks to Valenti, but that’s all.
Do a search for Valenti on the forum to find some tips.
